I bought twilight and new moon. they were on sale so I figured I'd give the first 2 a shot and see if I even liked them before getting the others. Everything I buy on amazon now gets sent to my parents because I'm cheap and I like tax free items. Stupid offices in NY or whatever.
I got Twilight on Saturday when we were out there and started reading that night. I just finished about an hour ago. I read the prologue and first chapter of the next book because they were in the back of this book. It was really good. And now I'm upset that I won't get to read the next book until Monday when my mom and Melissa come out here. I don't want to wait a week.
I told Mark he should buy it for me tomorrow and I would just give the second book to Melissa as a hanukkah gift. He thinks I should also give her the first book, but I don't have two copies of the first book. And if I have to wait until Monday I might just reread the first one instead of the stack of other books that are sitting on my nighttable. They're very fast reads.. obviously.
Oh, and I got all 7 seasons of Buffy on dvd! It's a Vampire Spectacular at the Enoch household this week.
4. Sewed some buttons back on. Usually, I have good intentions of sewing buttons back on and then the clothing gets pushed aside for years until I finally outgow it and throw it away. Those pants that I lost the button to when I was at work over the summer, ya know the ones that forced me to wear a Binder Clip as a style statement? Yeah, those puppies are back in commission. I think I'll be wearing them tomorrow.
