today is rather hectic. well not right now obviously. its just me and my manager in the office. the owners aren't coming in till the afternoon and the other 2 girls (ya know the ones who actually know what they're doing) both called in sick. so yeah. and its gross outside and i dont feel well. but i'm thinking its a damn good thing i didn't call in sick for today.

i think i'll be able to swim home tonight.

i called a customer earlier today. it was a church. we were outta stock on two of the items until next week. anyway.. there was a long menu of extensions to pick from. my favorite was number 5.

"for an after hours sacramental emergency. that is if you need to speak to a priest immediately. please press 5"

what exactly would constitute a sacramental emergency? the only situation i could think of is if you're dying and wanna be read your last rites but are you really gonna stop what you're doing (that would be dying) and pick up the phone and dial 5? churches in oregon are weird.
