so we went to the dr. had appts for 11. we were in the waiting room until around 12:15. i was telling mark i wasn't feeling well and i shouldn't do it and he called me a big baby. but i know myself, and i know myself well.

i passed out. i passed out good.

mark and i were in the same room since i didn't have a real appt just he did i was just getting the bloodwork done so they put us in the same room. the nurse comes in and sees i'm nervous and i tell her about my meaty vein in my left arm and shes like yup i see it. she goes in for it and my vein collapses. i dont know what that means but it sounds pretty bad if you ask me. she tells me to drink water. apparently i should've been drinking water all along which would've helped but they dont tell you that. they just tell you to fast and then make you sit in the waiting room for over an hour until you feel like you're gonna die.

so she leaves and the dr comes in to talk to mark and then a different nurse comes in to try on my right arm. and she gets it in and i'm listening to the dr talk to mark instead of looking at anything because i dont want to see it. and i'm thinking man this is taking forever she's gotta be almost done and i look down and shes only on the first freakin vile! i'm like oh man c'mooooon blood lets go. so then i go a lil longer and i'm like uh oh. i tell her i'm getting woozy. shes like okay sweetie we're done you can pass out now hahaha and looks up at me and is like lemme get you some water you okay?? and im like oh yeah i'm just fine. she goes to get up and tells the dr to watch me and then i pass the fuck out.

apparently they lifted me outta the chair and laid me onto the floor so they must be strong. i was out for about a minute according to mark. woke up had no idea where the fuck i was so i just closed my eyes again for a bit and then opened 'em up and the nurse was all like at least you warned me blah blah and i'm like yeah.. did you get what you needed?? and they did so that was good. and mark and the dr resume talking again while i'm sprawled out on the floor and apparently mark was all calm, so i'm joking around just like 'so yea this crazy pill is working for him cause usually he freaks out when stuff happens to me'

so a while later when i can actually stand again we leave and go and get some philly cheese steaks and i'm talking about the passing out.. in even greater detail then this longass rambling.. and i'm like "well the problem is i'm not a sharer.. i just don't like it when people try to steal my shit." and mark replies "i feel like you should stand up and fight rather than lay down and play dead."

honestly, its easily the funniest thing the kid has said in his life. it was so matter of factly. no pausing. nothing. just a perfect delivery. at our 50th wedding anniversary i'll make a speech and include that in there. it really does sum everything up quite nicely.

yeah so now i feel out of it and shitty so i will not be going to astoria tonight for the show. instead i'll be on the couch probably watching animal planet with all the animals.

48. being the first person to pass out at the dr's office. granted they just moved like 2 weeks ago but the dr pointed out that i'm the first to pass out and lay on the carpet. its all new and freshly shampooed.
