Just came back from an ultrasound.  I'll be 34 weeks tomorrow (holy crap).  I had a midwife appt on Tuesday, she felt around and was positive the baby was head down but said she'd send me for an ultrasound just to make sure everything was still going smoothly and that she hadn't lost her touch.

Baby beluga is head down and in launch position.  I'll have a talk with him/her later about staying that way until we're actually ready to launch.  All my measurements were good, fluid levels were good yada yada.  Baby is weighing 4lbs 15oz currently (take that for what it's worth) but according to stats that's the 52 percentile so that's good as well.

Mark is fully convinced he got a peak at the penis or vagina.  The lady (it was the really nice ultrasound tech that I love) was just like we're looking at a thigh bone right now and it's a lot harder to tell boy or girl at this point in time since it's getting cramped in there and then she moved on to another body part.  I was about 6" from the monitor and I couldn't make out anything.  Mark was about 4 ft away and thinks he saw a penis.  Who knows.  I guess time will tell.
