Rebecca's Birthday Weekend Wrap up:
Friday: Emy (Paul's mom) signs David (his brother) out of the crazy hospital because she felt like it. She claimed she was driving him to Zucker (? an institution). He "tricked" her by asking for her car keys. He stole the car. Emy held on and got dragged a bit. David drove out to PA and parked in front of Melissa and Paul's house. Melissa was at restaurant. Paul had Rebecca, he called cops. David has threatened Paul in the past that he would "get even" for Paul calling his act team and getting him hospitalized again. Anyway, cops show up - David refuses arrest. blah blah blah gets tasered 4x and arrested for harassment, disorderly conduct, and assault on a police officer.
Saturday: Emy can't figure out why Melissa is being such a bitch and not bailing David out of jail. For some reason Melissa doesn't want to throw away $5,000. Emy wants to drive up, but can't because she doesn't have a car. She wants to be there to ruin Rebecca's birthday party that she wasn't invited to. Drama drama blah blah blah.
Sunday: Whole family leaves early from Long Island to get to the party early and leave Emy behind. Emy woke up at 6am but wasn't ready by 9am when they left. She was too busy stirring the dog food. Yeah. We're all sitting around having a good time at the party when the door to the restaurant opens. We all pause thinking it must be a guest and the restaurants not open. No. Emy walks in. She took her husbands truck and drove it up. We all stare with our mouths open not knowing what to say/do. She walks past all of us and puts down a tray of cookies that she made. As if this is normal and she should've showed up. Nothing out of the ordinary.
At this point my dad proposes to my sister's Chinese friend. Her husband said "all she cooks is Chinese food, how much of it can you eat" my dad said he didn't deserve such an amazing woman. While this happened apparently Emy went up to Rebecca and was like "can I say hi to my granddaughter" and Rebecca turned around as far as she could and stared away from her towards Mark with eyes that were pleading "help me help me get me away from the bad lady". Emy walks out. We all resume breathing.
About an hour later, door opens again. Emy walks in and throws her keys at Paul's Aunt Pam and says "Fuck this family" Aunt Pam (who is the nicest woman ever and intros herself as "I'm Aunt Pam, I marrid into the family") just goes "Fucking bitch". Emy storms out. Paul locks the foor. Emy tries to come back in (because she didn't cause a big enough scene) but can't because the door is locked. So she bangs on the door a bunch and then finally gives up.
Monday: Emy gets David from jail. Claims the only reason why anything happened was because he didn't take his medication. Emy is the reason he doesn't take his meds. She visits him in the hospital where she coaxes him into cheeking his meds and spitting them out into her hand. Because there's nothing wrong with him. He might just be a little depressed. The fact that he is an actual paranoid delusional schizophrenic means nothing. Nope. Nothing at all. So all charges were dropped. Ridiculous.
