a whole entry on shoes

so i met mark for lunch today. i like doing that. granted i see him everyday but its nice seeing him at like noon on a thursday. that only happens when we're on vacation.

after lunch i didn't feel like going home so i went continuing on my quest for shoes. apparently gray shoes are completely out right now because its impossible to find one. who knew i was so out of touch? perhaps, i'm just so ahead of the trends.

so anyway i'm wandering around different shoe stores for like 2.5 hours (maybe 3? lol) ended up with nothing. except i broke my flip flop. well louie, who thinks he's a dog, chewed my left flip flop up but i like them so i still wore them.. i never realized he chewed on the thongy part. so yeah here i am flopping all around mjm cause ya know i couldn't just leave the store when it happened.. no i mighta missed out on something.

i kinda fell in love with a $200 pair of kate spades. and almost convinced myself that i should buy them to replace my broken flip flop. sadly, rationale kicked in and i flopped on out.

the irony of it all? i missed the ups guy who was coming to deliver 3 shoes i ordered (i'm only keeping one but i like options lol) so now i'm shoeless until he comes back tomorrow.

had i just gone home, i'd have 3 new pairs of shoes next to me and an unbroken flip flop. so sad.

but lunch with mark was nice.

the last time i did that it was such a hassle that it's easier just to wait till today. they made me wait until like 8 to come in and then the guy dug thru the back for like 20 minutes until he found it. just annoying lol. and i'm lazy so ya know.
